Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Livermead Cliff Hotel is frequently praised for its seafront location, offering beautiful views and convenient access to attractions. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms, although some have noted that single rooms can feel small and that certain bathrooms could benefit from modernization. The hotel provides a pleasant area for enjoying coffee or tea with homemade shortbread while taking in the sea view. While the lift is small and somewhat outdated, the proximity to the beach and promenade remains a highlight for many visitors.

a decent stay

the staff were friendly. the beach was really close, , made morning swims so easy. the beds felt super comfy, and i found the rooms spacious. i enjoyed the amazing service i got!
I found some food over priced. i wasn't impressed with the steak. I asked for medium-rare, but it came out well done. the drinks seemed pretty expensive too, and the price changed on the same order. i booked a large double room with a view, but it felt small with not much of a view.

Satisfactory Coastal Stay

sea viewhelpful staffteacoffeecarpet staincramped roomvisible dust
The hotel's location next to the sea is just awesome. I saw great sea views from my room, a Standard Double Room. It had tea and coffee making facilities too. The lounge bar was also nicely furnished, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I must say I noticed some visible dust on ledges in the room. The carpet looked stained. I found the room generally cramped.
